mi fa tenerezza.

don't ask me how, because i wouldn't have believed it myself before meeting this one, but i met some soaps that make me say, "mi fa tenerezza". difficult to translate, it means roughly, "it gives me feelings of tenderness".
this is what happened when in the santo spirito piazza an organic & natural food monthly market, the fierucola, i found a wooden table watched over by a middle-aged-young-ish couple with their tinctures in funny tiny cute re-purposed bottles and a handful of handmade soaps that actually have presence, character, and therefore, yes, they give me feelings of tenderness.
taking this one, lemon-y, home, i found it lived up to its charming appearance in being lushly sudsy and smooth and creamy and leaving its smooth olive oil caresses behind, instead of drying out the skin and slapping it up with suds.
leaving me more tender.
